5,000 / 50,000 (9.0%)

Thanks to taking part in mini_nanowrimo, I feel all inspired and stuff! One hundred words a day for the month of November - surely I can accomplish THAT, right?

It bothers me greatly that the counter says that I've completed 9% of my goal, when 5000 is clearly 10% of 50,000... XD

And, so this post isn't completely pointless - eBay lolz! Phantom of the Opera old fashioned key with tassel! It's not the key/tassel combination itself that makes me LOL (I hate that in the movie though, with Gerik locking Christine in her dressing room - I much prefer Christine locking Raoul out of her dressing room), but the description.

In the movie, the Phantom turns the key to Christine's dressing room. A key that looks like this one. A key to keep Raoul out.

Because nothing says love like locking someone in a room so she can't escape when you put the moves on her.

Wannnnnnnnnnnnnt!!! Is that not one of the coolest things ever? Also, these. Mmm, makes me think of a scene in the movie Hannibal! XD

Almost a thousand new words AND I finished the chapter! Woohoo!

P.S. I feel happy. Not just happy because I finished the chapter, but like, baseline happy. This is an interesting development.

I know that I'm going to have to kick it up a notch if I even want to get close to reaching my goal of 50,000 words by December 31st. :\ I've been having so much trouble with this current chapter; it's really annoying, especially since I whipped out three chapters rapid-fire last week. Still, I continue to plod forward! Every little word counts for something, right?
