Dexter!

Oh man, just when I was thinking that this season wasn't that great, this episode knocked my socks off. :D

Dexter - surprise mofo

(no subject)

Maybe it's the lack of sleep, but I think this "secret" is AWESOMESAUCE. XD (You'll need to have watched True Blood to get it.)

Showtime has apparently put up the first episode of the new season of Dexter on their site. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch it now or wait until they actually start airing the shows in September. I'll probably cave, provided it's still up on the site when I decide to give in. ;)

I got about three hours of sleep total last night, so I feel like death warmed over. Blargh. I am really looking forward to vacation, which is so tantalizingly close. Three relatively stress-free weeks! It sounds like heaven, if I believed in such a place.

I should be getting my Quicksilver bust tomorrow (I got the green one instead of the blue one, since he looks more like the arrogant bastard he is in the green one, and the green one is definitely the better sculpt), and I got several comics today in the mail.

Life is pretty good. :D

Writer's Block: Set Sail

Spike and Angel, President Roslin and Gaius Baltar, Harry and Hermione—shippers often find pairings that the original author might have overlooked. What coupling of fictional characters would you most like to see?

I love Erik/Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, but so many people in the fandom ship E/C that it's barely non-canon. I also like Christine/Meg; I never really got any vibes until I watched the 2004 movie. I don't know why, but the femme-slash button was triggered!

I feel guilty for shipping it, but when it comes to Dexter, I totally ship Dexter/Rudy(Brian). Yes, I know that they're blood brothers (at least half-siblings), but there's just so much UST between them! It's like watching a relationship unfold, how Rudy/Brian "courts" Dexter throughout the first season. I was dreadfully disappointed that Rudy/Brian didn't survive the first season (he doesn't die in Darkly Dreaming Dexter), but I can see why the writers had to do away with him. YAY FORBIDDEN INCEST SHIP.

When I was into the Harry Potter series, I thought that Harry and Luna would make a good couple. I still think it's a good ship, but I'm not into the series much anymore.

You scored as Rudy Cooper

You're a conniving trickster at heart that loves the thrill of conning people. You're such a great liar that you often believe your own webs of untruth, leading to a miserable and lonely existence in which no one can possibly relate to you.

I do love the character of Rudy though; he's my second favorite (after Dexter, of course). It makes me sad that #2 is Deb. God, please no. DO NOT WANT TO BE LIKE HER.
