Oh man, just when I was thinking that this season wasn't that great, this episode knocked my socks off. :D

Yeah, I watched it again. XD It'll probably be the last time that I'll be able to catch it in theaters; besides, I had a really shitty day and needed a pick-me-up.

The more I see it, the more I love Ozymandias...

Also, when they play the muzak version of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears in the part when Ozy's talking to the captains of industry about Alexander the Great and wanting to conquer the ills that beset mankind? LOLOLOL COMEDY GOLD. I can't keep a straight face thinking about it, much less when I'm actually watching the movie.

I had an hour and a half to kill, so I went to Barnes & Noble again to browse, since we don't really have what I consider to be a "real" bookstore down here. I didn't buy anything, but I found about a dozen books that I'm going to buy eventually. Then I came home and bought Swamp Thing Vol. 1 by Alan Moore. I know that they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I think the cover art is beautiful. Besides, I haven't read anything by Alan Moore yet that I haven't adored. Sigh. As if my "to read" list isn't totally out of control already! Well, as my mom always said when I was a little kid, "It could be worse. It could be drugs."

And, on the way home, I was bitten by a plotbunny of doom. As if I don't have more than enough of those, too...

Well, not yet. But I will be in less than 48 hours! :D And I probably won't really have the opportunity to update until at least Sunday. I'm going to try to do a couple of voice posts here and there, but the last time I went to Vegas they didn't work, so I'm not putting much stock in them.

I really don't know what to do with myself, so I guess I'm going to blog more than I usually do! Sorry guys. ;)

I am looking forward to seeing Valkyrie in a couple of weeks...somewhat. I feel like a horrible person saying that, because I love Claus von Stauffenberg (the guy the movie is about), and I just know that there's no way Tom Cruise will live up to the real man. I have a very nerdy historical crush on Claus, which started when I first read about him in my Holocaust History class back in 2001. I vividly remember calling Shay after I read the assignment, and we squeed about him together. XD He tried to blow up Hitler! He gets an A for effort. And now I have a feeling that Tom Cruise is going to totally decimate him on screen, and I'm going to pay money to see it. Fail, bee, fail. Please prove me wrong here, Tom.

I went to the gym today and really busted my butt, so I'm exhausted. The local radio station that they usually blast on the speakers was down, so they were playing another station. I was there two hours, and I heard "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" by Beyoncé THREE TIMES. Is this honestly what passes as music nowadays? I mean, really. "Woah oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh" is not a proper chorus. I'm stick with my Meat Loaf and Tom Petty, thanks. I'm really sounding like an old lady... And now it's in my head and I can't get it out of my mind. :\
